2009 Expo Success!!
The 2009 Expo was a huge success!! 6000 people through the doors and over 100 business, government and community exhibitions. In 2010 we will be celebrating the 12th annual Sustainable Living Expo.
The Expo aims to promote and support change toward sustainable living by increasing awareness of and enthusiasm for environmentally sustainable ideas, products and services, emphasising those which are practical for and available to individuals and householders.
The event provides a regular forum for businesses to showcase innovative environmentally sustainable housing design and products and clearly demonstrates that there is a market for energy efficient technologies and design.
The Expo showcases talks, interactive workshops, music, film, art and funky earth friendly fashion. People coming from far and wide to be a part of this fantastic event.

- The Expo grows each year, attracting approximately 6000 visitors in 2009 to Shed no. 1, Princes Wharf.

Audience Profile
The Expo emphasises lifestyle choices for urban householders and aims to support change towards sustainable living. The Expo has a growing audience from greater Hobart and from regional Tasmania.
The Sustainable Living Expo audience is comprised of:
- General public - both those committed to the environmental movement and a growing mainstream audience who may have very little idea about how to live more sustainably, but would like to make some positive changes.
- Local government representatives.
- Business and industry representatives.
